Fix PA

Dear Friends:

A lot of you have wondered about my mysterious new project. I know it's been shrouded in a bit of secrecy, but we can finally tell you about this exciting new project. Let me introduce you to Keystone Progress. http://www.keystoneprogress.org

Keystone Progress is a multi-issue progressive advocacy organization that combines cutting edge online organizing and communications with rapid and hard-hitting earned media strategies. Year round, Keystone Progress will work to engage citizens from across the state around issues of immediate state or local concern.

We have a blog, but we're much more than that. Keystone Progress will be the cutting edge of activist communication. Last month, NPR said of our network, "The Left has never had anything like this - a place in cyberspace for groups to coordinate and deliver their messages to activists. And there's nothing like it on the Right."

Our mission is to provide a strong, credible voice in advancing progressive solutions to critical community problems. But we don't do that on our own - we work as a communications team for the entire progressive community. We're a marketing department for progressive ideas - a campaign that never stops. We work year-round to challenge conservative propaganda in the media and make sure that progressive perspectives are heard.

Unlike many organizations, we intend to use the new media as well as the old. We will still do news releases, hold news conferences and occasionally buy paid media. But we intend to focus heavily on new networking.

Right now, we have four active campaigns. We'll be adding new ones every week or two as the need arises. These are the current campaigns:

Or go to any of the specific issue pages to make your views known. Then ask all of your friends to sign up too. If you do, we will soon have the largest network of progressive activists in PA. And who knows what we can accomplish if we continue to unite...

In Solidarity,
