Pope Benedixt XVI has named auxiliary Bishop Paul J. Bradley of Pittsburgh as the next bishop of the Diocese of Kalamazoo, Mich.
Bishop Paul Bradley, 63, will be installed June 5, 2009 as the fourth bishop of Kalamazoo.
Bishop Bradley was appointed an auxiliary bishop of Pittsburgh in 2004 and has served as vicar general and general secretary of the diocese. He served as its interim leader after Bishop Donald Wuerl was appointed archbishop of Washington, D.C.
